Olivia the Pig!

Olivia the Pig!!!! She has been around for ages as I can remember reading her books when I was little, so now she is back with her own cartoon on Treehouse! So I did my research and watched it and went on the website. The request was Olivia the Pig themed pops and the request was colors being black, white, pink and red with stripes and polka dots being the obvious theme.

So I decided to go with attempting Olivia, she turned out pretty well but I would have liked to have had a more muted pink with some peach in it but I did not have that option (my area doesn't have a whole lot of cake decor places). All in all she turned out pretty well. I then decided to make her stuff animal as well as a character. The other pops are pink with white polka dots and then white pops with black fondant stripes which were very hard to do but turned out good. Lastly was the red pops with a design of white and black. The ideas are really endless but this is what I came up with. Hope you like it and feel free to comment!!!! Here are some pics!

50th Birthday Pops

So these are for a man's 50th Birthday so I decided to go with the Over the Hill colors of black and white. I used fondant for the numbers and the inside of the cake pop is Triple Chocolate with mini chips inside. By far the most popular flavor, who doesn't like chocolate really? Enjoy

Been a while but there is a good reason! I am expecting my 2nd child!

Hello everyone and so sorry I haven't been in the ball with updates. I had a whirlwind wedding in Kelowna then wasn't feeling too hot. Little did I know I was pregnant! So after a couple of rough weeks I am back in the kitchen baking! So I have done  a couple repeat orders for the Bumble Bee's and Lady bugs but also a couple new orders. I have some 50th Birthday pops to show you and as well a first request for Olivia the pig cake pops. It was my first attempt let me know what you think!!!! I have a wedding to do in the next couple weeks my biggest order to date 130!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy the new pics of my work! Oh and I am due in eary Feb so I will not be taking orders from January until May!

Married and ready to get back to baking!

Hello everyone! So I am back to business now that all the havoc of planning a wedding is over! It was so amazing had the best weather that day and really couldn't ask for anything more! We had it at Summerhill Pyramid Winery in Kelowna, BC it was breathtaking! So I will be back to taking orders and baking today! On the agenda is Pineapple cupcakes with Pina Colada Frosting! Pics to come! Also super excited that I registered for CakeLove 2011 located in Richmond, BC and will be attending the Airbrushing class 1&2 and also taking a class from Cake Envy for cakelette's!!!!! I think I might indulge in one more class on Hibiscus flowers as well! So let's get baking!

Here are some more cupcake bites requested for a wedding shower this weekend that I threw in before I am off to get my wedding plans going. So I will be back in action after June 4th! I made the capcake bites in the brides colors and alternated with white and pink and put gumpaste flowers on top and of course spinkles! The flavour is the most popular Chocoloate Chocolate! Hello Kitty!

Not only did I do the Bumble Bee's but I have my niece's  3rd birthday coming up so I thought I would attempt the Hello Kitty that is all the rage! So here are some pics! Also I did the pops with Strawberry cake! Hope you like them!

So I have had a bit of a break as I am trying to get all the wedding stuff organized as it is 4 weeks away!!!! But I had some time to make some Bumble Bee's with work, child and wedding planning! I used a Starwberry cake and the stripes on the Bee are black fondant! Enjoy!
