Keeping it light!

So I have 1 more month until my wedding day so I am not as busy with all my baking as I would like to be!!! I will be doing another wedding shower this weekend and one more birthday party then I will have to start focusing on gumpaste flowers for my wedding cupcakes. I have someone doing it as I am doing a destination wedding but I have asked if I can do my own flowers nothing fancy just some daisies and another 5 petal flower. For the upcoming wedding shower the request was cupcake balls with white chocolate bottoms and tops will be hot pink, purple and blue with sprinkles and a smartie and also some white chocolate decoration. The flavor of choice is Devil's Food Cake can't go wrong with chocolate!!! I will be posting pics when I am done this weekend! If time permits I might through in some cupcakes as well!!! Easter Pops!!!

So I have finished the first part of my easter order. I have done some chicks and will be working on the Easter eggs tonight. I added the mohawk on the top of the chick! I think it gives them some character!! Hope you enjoy the pics! The flavour is vanilla cake with chocolate frosting! Eggs will be posted soon!!!

Wedding Shower Cake pops!

So finally done with all this craziness lake's 3rd birthday!!!! I took it upon myself to offer to make my own wedding shower cake pops!!! Like I didn't have more on my plate!!! But all in all they turned out great!!! Hope you all like them. Next on the agenda will be Easter themed cake pops and cupcakes!

Busy Busy!

So I have been really busy my son just turned 3! and of course I bit a little more than I could chew with cake pops and a cake and then organizing a party and working fulltime!!!!!! The joys of being a working mom! So I did end up making some regular cake pops and make shift Thomas cake which I will post but really wished I had a lot more time to make it even better. So I have an order for Easter that I will be posting doing the chickies and eggs! I will absent from more than I would like my blog so I apologize as I have a lot of wedding things to be doing as I only have 2 months left, then after that it will be much better!!!! So just wanted to update whats going on with me and my crazy life!!! Keep checking for more things to come! I will post the Thomas cake today!

Lady Bug Cake pops!

Lady bugs are here!!!!! I have been a little pre-occupied with all my wedding odds and ends as I have 2 months left till I say I Do!!!! Super exciting can't wait! So I had an order placed for Lady bugs for a birthday and here they are!! They actually were a lot easier to make than I thought. I think they are super cute and perfect for a birthday!!! My son who is gonna be 3 next week loved them!!! I will be doing some more Spring themed baking as well so there is more to come!!! Enjoy!!!!
